One Million Moms
So there’s this one million moms group that is protesting JcPenny’s use to Ellen DeGeneres as a spokesperson because (in their words) since she’s a lesbian she does not represent the traditional family which is JcPenny’s target audience and those who shop there the most.
(traditional i guess is interchangeable with heteronormativity here)
Mind you they also support Komen’s grant withdrawal from Planned Parenthood.
I can’t. Visit their website. Its deplorable. http://onemillionmoms.com/
Maybe you just haven’t found the right penis. Shh, just relax. If you let it, my touch will feel good. You’re too tense. His hand caressed my thigh. This probably would have been an excellent time for me to walk away, but I didn’t. And I cannot justify why I didn’t in the least. I didn’t get attacked or harmed, but something about it all still infuriated me.
I think what bothered me the most was his blatant disrespect for my orientation. He knows I am lesbian, but something in him perhaps still thinks he can change that fact. Lesbianism has become a huge part of my personal identity. Anyone who wants to take that away from me is ripping one of the most important facets of my being away from me. Anyone who desires to take away another’s identity is selfish. Then it got me thinking. Why does he so adamantly want to turn me “straight again?” There has to be something more psychologically rooted to that desire than just needing a night of fun. Why are some men so threatened by lesbians that they want to change them? There’s a catalyst for everything. In a culture that often times denigrates women, lesbianism rejects participation in this ideology. Lesbians self and energy center on women, not men. We are not (usually) economically, physically or emotionally supported by men in the same way heterosexual women in relationships are. (But don’t be fooled, we too are still under men’s power and whims by the mere participation in society.)
Ultimately, lesbianism is still a threat to male supremacy. It takes the daily personal power over women men has and undermines it.
Perhaps that’s why he is adamant about turning me and why he asks and acts the way he does. Maybe my coming out undermined a sense of control he thought he once had over our friendship.

Woman Suing for Sexual Harassment is Called "Too ugly to touch"
I cannot explain the magnitude of the disgust I feel for all of the men she’s suing, her boss and the entire culture of the firm. My heart goes out to this woman. Let me be clear, this is not just her problem; this is a systematic injustice about how women and their bodies are thought of and treated. This is not ok. This is the enemy.
The fact that the woman is lesbian says something too about men and their beliefs that they can “turn you back” or “watch you and your girlfriend have sex”. What kind of shit is that? I don’t want to blame porn or barsexuality but men (not all of course) don’t respect female-female relationships. They don’t understand they they have emotional aspects as well as physical. And its not for your viewing pleasure! Homosexuality isn’t your play thing, your local pornhub! smh. Also this woman is pretty so idk why they said “shes too ugly to touch”. Well you were busy making sexual passes at her all day everyday it wasn’t a problem then. -______-
